The GRUPO ADILSON CAPOEIRA promotes ongoing free training activities in the art and culture of Capoeira for children, teenagers, and youth, using Capoeira as an instrument of social inclusion, strengthening of cultural identity, and human development.
CAPOEIRA CIDADÃ (CEPMG OCIDENTAL)
The Military College of Cidade Ocidental, recognized for its excellence in educating youth with solid ethical and disciplinary principles, constantly seeks to enrich its curriculum with activities that promote the integral development of its students. The "Capoeira Cidadã" project aims to promote ongoing free cultural training in capoeira for children, teenagers, and youth of Cidade Ocidental, using capoeira as a tool for social inclusion, strengthening of cultural identity, and human development.
GROUND ZERO OF CAPOEIRA IN BRASÍLIA
It aims to recover and preserve historical information and images related to the emergence of Capoeira in Brasília, highlighting the pioneering figures in the teaching and practice of Capoeira in the city's early decades, through the installation of tourist signage plaques at the Centro de Ensino Médio Elefante Branco (CEMEB). The inauguration of Ground Zero took place on October 19, 2025, the date on which the 60 years of Adilson Alves da Silva, the longest-serving Capoeira teacher at CEMEB, as a Master were celebrated.
