The GRUPO ADILSON DE CAPOEIRA was born with the clear mission of educating and integrating children and teenagers in situations of social vulnerability through Capoeira.
Our goal is to form citizens who are aware of their rights and duties, using Capoeira as an instrument of social transformation and appreciation of Brazilian culture, while also promoting the art and culture of Capoeira at national and international levels.

SOCIAL PURPOSE
The GRUPO ADILSON DE CAPOEIRA is a private legal entity, non-profit, with a philanthropic, welfare, and associative character, with administrative and financial autonomy, acting in the dissemination and training of individuals in the art and culture of Capoeira at national and international levels.
MISSION, PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES:
I. To develop studies and research on Capoeira as a cultural expression, dance and music; a sports modality and Afro-Brazilian martial art; as an artistic-educational instrument; dissemination of Bahian and Brazilian folklore and its cultural manifestations that make up the heritage of popular Brazilian culture, developing and promoting it throughout Brazil and the world;
II. To develop artistic, cultural, educational, and sports projects with public and private bodies, entities and institutions, governmental and non-governmental, Brazilian and/or foreign companies;
III. To recover rituals, customs, documentation, and Afro-Brazilian culture;
IV. To disseminate the art of Capoeira by promoting the publication of books, articles, courses, competitions, workshops, seminars, congresses, shows, and other related events;
V. To sign agreements, contracts, and partnerships. To develop and implement cultural and socio-educational projects and programs for children, teenagers, adults, individuals with and without special and/or mental needs, with public and private bodies, entities, and institutions, governmental and non-governmental, Brazilian and/or foreign companies;
VI. To support and honor citizens, artists, and artisans who develop Capoeira, art, and popular culture in Brazil and the world;
VII. To support and encourage the training of young apprentices and instructors capable of developing art-education through Capoeira and Afro-Brazilian culture;
VIII. To educate and integrate children and teenagers through the art of capoeira, especially those in situations of social vulnerability, aiming to prepare them for the full exercise of citizenship, as people aware of their rights and duties in society, thus contributing to the formation of their character.
